Our story

Our story
Good stories always start with boldness, with great business savvy, Ms. Ester Valentin Menel began to weave the history of Nanete by choosing fabrics, hiring seamstresses, making and selling lingerie in the Jaraguá do Sul and Joinville regions, around 1958.

Sometime later, the production line expanded to beachwear and Prêt-à-Porter and these pieces of clothing started to be commercialized in all north of the Santa Catarina.
Threads that weave new stories
Later, Mr. José Gilberto Menel, Ms. Ester´s son, continued her work, expanding Nanete's lines of action. During this period, the company started to buy thread and weave the knits. Furthermore, the dyeing during a time was outsourced, after it started to be made at the headquarters, serving Nanete and other companies in the region.
Featured in the national market
Transforming thread into fabrics, Nanete was evolving. Today, the company stands out in the national textile scene for its quality and competitive prices in the fabrics produced by it. Furthermore to investing in the relationship with its customers, Nanete receives visitors from all over Brazil to visit its industrial park.

The company has a complete and verticalized industrial park, from which more than one million kilograms of fabrics are produced monthly. The investment in modern and high productivity machines makes the company one of the most modern textile industries in the country.

Structure

We constantly invest in state-of-the-art technology, machinery and a specialized team that guarantees extreme product quality.

We have about 183 looms, 600 employees, 50 dyeing machines, 8 layer stenter, 2 continuous washers, 2 rotary printing machines, 1 automatic laboratory and dyeing machine Tecnorama, 2 tumbler dryers, 2 raising machines, 4 shearings and 1 steamer. In addition to this structure, we have specialists in the areas of research and development, beyond a system that is constantly evolving to meet customer’s expectations with ever greater excellence.
